Responsibilities Duties The System Administrator will be part of the TPZVD IT Support Team in the delivery of IT services to the client. The work shall include analysis of the requirements design, integration, validation and documentation of IT solutions Level 3 support for incidents and problems. Possible participation to the oncall rota. Qualifications Experience A university degree in Computer Sciences or equivalent. At least 5 years proven experience as IT System and Security Administration. The successful candidate will have strong goaloriented and planning capabilities, coupled with very good design, problemsolving skills and a pronounced customer focus. Applicants should have strong communication and collaboration skills, be able to work in a diverse team environment and accomplish goals in line with team objectives. Experience operating critical IT infrastructure environments, working in mixed operating system and database environments, managing technical service transition, creation and maintenance of support documentation Essential Skills Very good knowledge in security principlesconcepts. Solid work experience with Linux OS RHEL, SLES and derivatives, system administration, customization and hardening Some work experience with Microsoft Windows Good experience in Virtualization solutions VMware ITIL qualified or experience working within an ITIL framework An advancedlevel command of English and an ability to present output in a clear, concise and understandable way, both orally and in writing Proactive and confident personality. Ability to manage assigned activitiestasks accountability and respect for deadlines. Good Troubleshooting skills of Incidents and Problems providing when necessary root cause analysis. Experience in End Point Protection anti malware, host IPSIDS, Central Log Management, authentication systems,Firewalls. Experience in creation of Contingency plans and Disaster Recovery strategies.
