The successful applicant will join the Image Chain department which covers design and development activities for the entire image processing chain of future observation systems. As part of the engineering team, you will participate in the definition of a technical roadmap for solutions and image chain products, the maintenance of a technical network, preparation of technology intelligence reports ... so as to prepare the solutions of the future. Your main tasks and responsibilities will include Being technically responsible for an Image Chain ground segment project. Being in charge of the technical coordination of project activities. Being the interface for internal or external customers depending on the project. Writing the architecture dossier and the technical elements of the project. Assessing the impact on existing systems or products Writing responses to calls for tender. Being responsible for system RD research. Participating in the definition of the roadmap and Image Chain Products Preparing technology intelligence reports Reporting to the customer and management. As the successful candidate, you will be able to demonstrate some of the following skills and experience With an Engineering degree or equivalent, you can demonstrate at least 5 years of experience ideally in industrial data processing systems engineering, You have experience in the design and development of IT systems from specifications to customer acceptance, Technical skills in system architecture, software architecture, system design methodologies, interface engineering and LINUX and WINDOWS systems are required for this position, Knowledge of Big data and Web technologies You have experience in the production of satellite ground segments, Experience with Image Chains for Earth observation satellite image processing would be a plus, Negotiation level in English. Proficiency in French would be an asset. You have good analysing skills and are able to manage complex situations.
