Cotton yarn prices are now slightly declining in India, over a fall of cotton fiber prices on the domestic and international markets. Demand is relatively depressed, meaning that prices could continue dropping. Our review of Indian yarn prices covers the domestic and export markets, including carded and combed cotton, poly-cotton, poly-viscose, 100% polyester and 100% viscose. Yarn prices are compared with fiber prices offering latest trends of spinners' margins. Market fundamentals are available on a monthly basis, including production and exports.
