Cotton prices have surged in the last seven days in India, over a strong rebound of cotton fiber exports benefiting from the fall of the rupee in the last months. Cotton yarn prices may be expected rising, in order to limit the decline of already low margins at spinning mills. Our review of Indian yarn prices covers the domestic and export markets, including carded and combed cotton, poly-cotton, poly-viscose, 100% polyester and 100% viscose.
