Spun yarn prices are rising across the board in India, in line with a new increase of fiber prices. The sharp fall of the rupee is possibly boosting exports, and therefore supporting domestic fiber and yarn prices on the cotton market. Our review of Indian yarn prices covers the domestic and export markets, including carded and combed cotton, poly-cotton, poly-viscose, 100% polyester and 100% viscose. Yarn prices are compared with fiber prices offering latest trends of spinners' margins. Market fundamentals are available on a monthly basis, including production and exports.
