Cotton yarn prices have begun slightly receding on the domestic market in India whereas export prices were further plunging over a sharp fall of the Indian rupee. Demand for Indian cotton fibers and yarns could now rebound from China, offering some strong support to domestic prices in rupee terms. Our review of Indian yarn prices covers the domestic and export markets, including carded and combed cotton, poly-cotton, poly-viscose, 100% polyester and 100% viscose. Yarn prices are compared with fiber prices offering latest trends of spinners' margins. Market fundamentals are available on a monthly basis, including production and exports.
