Spun yarn prices have remained very firm in the last days in India where cotton yarn prices are supported by the surge of exports being boosted by the fall of the rupee. On the polyester market, PSF prices have been further raised which should support 100% polyester yarn prices. Our review of Indian yarn prices covers the domestic and export markets, including carded and combed cotton, poly-cotton, poly-viscose, 100% polyester and 100% viscose. Yarn prices are compared with fiber prices offering latest trends of spinners' margins. Market fundamentals are available on a monthly basis, including production and exports.
