Spun yarn prices have stayed very firm in the past days on India's domestic market whereas cotton yarn export prices were further falling by contrast. Demand from China could now be depressed, in line with the low level of textile production currently in this country. Our review of Indian yarn prices covers the domestic and export markets, including carded and combed cotton, poly-cotton, poly-viscose, 100% polyester and 100% viscose.
