Spun yarn prices have given signs of weakness in the past days in India, as market activities were reduced by Diwali celebration. Polyester spun prices have dropped in line with a decline of PSF prices on the domestic market and reflected by our new tables covering yarn prices in Tirupur (Tamil Nadu) and Bhiwandi (Maharashtra). Our review of Indian yarn prices covers the domestic and export markets, including carded and combed cotton, poly-cotton, poly-viscose, 100% polyester and 100% viscose. Yarn prices are compared with fiber prices offering latest trends of spinners' margins. Market fundamentals are available on a monthly basis, including production and exports.
