India Yarn Prices: Domestic and Export Markets (Weekly Report)

Spun yarn prices have continued declining in the last seven days in India, with a sharp drop being observed for the past four weeks, as a result. In the meantime, fiber prices have not moved on the domestic market, with gross margins therefore falling at spinning mills. Our weekly review of Indian yarn prices covers the domestic and export markets, including carded and combed cotton, poly-cotton, poly-viscose, 100% polyester, and 100% viscose. Major yarn production centers are covered with Tirupur (Tamil Nadu), Bhiwandi (Maharashtra) and Ludhiana (Punjab). Yarn prices are compared with fiber prices, and offering the latest trends of spinners' margins.
