India Yarn Prices: Domestic and Export Markets (Weekly Report)

Cotton yarn prices have continued to decline in India, as cotton fiber prices were pressured by first arrivals from the new crop. Prices of other yarns have begun stabilizing, however. Our weekly review of Indian yarn prices covers the domestic and export markets, including carded and combed cotton, poly-cotton, poly-viscose, 100% polyester, and 100% viscose. Major yarn production centers are covered with Tirupur (Tamil Nadu), Bhiwandi (Maharashtra) and Ludhiana (Punjab). Yarn prices are compared with fiber prices, and offering the latest trends of spinners' margins.
