Cotton yarn prices have continued to significantly rise on the domestic market in India, whatever the continuous decline of cotton fiber prices. Operating rates had previously been cut, now allowing to raise yarn prices. Our weekly review of Indian yarn prices covers the domestic and export markets, including carded and combed cotton, poly-cotton, poly-viscose, 100% polyester, and 100% viscose. Major yarn production centers are covered with Tirupur (Tamil Nadu), Bhiwandi (Maharashtra) and Ludhiana (Punjab). Yarn prices are compared with fiber prices, and offering the latest trends of spinners' margins.
