2020-03-13 18:12:30| EmergingTextiles.com
Spun yarn prices have stayed firm or they have even risen in the past week in India, over support from foreign buyers. The fall of the rupee may have made fibers and yarns more competitive on foreign markets, but the coronavirus outbreak is limiting demand, on the other side. Our weekly review of Indian yarn prices covers the domestic and export markets, including carded and combed cotton, poly-cotton, poly-viscose, 100% polyester, and 100% viscose. Major yarn production centers are covered with Tirupur (Tamil Nadu), Bhiwandi (Maharashtra) and Ludhiana (Punjab).
