Spun yarn prices are more clearly dropping in India, over virus and panic spreading in export markets. Polyester fiber prices have declined further, whereas cotton is still supported by state buying. Our weekly review of Indian yarn prices covers the domestic and export markets, including carded and combed cotton, poly-cotton, poly-viscose, 100% polyester, and 100% viscose. Major yarn production centers are covered with Tirupur (Tamil Nadu), Bhiwandi (Maharashtra) and Ludhiana (Punjab).
