Cotton yarn prices have stopped falling for a few days in India, in line with a low level in production, although a few plants have resumed operations. Cotton fiber prices have begun declining more significantly in the last seven days. Our weekly review of Indian yarn prices covers the domestic and export markets, including carded and combed cotton, poly-cotton, poly-viscose, 100% polyester, and 100% viscose. Major yarn production centers are covered with Tirupur (Tamil Nadu), Bhiwandi (Maharashtra) and Ludhiana (Punjab). Yarn prices are compared with fiber prices, and offering the latest trends of spinners' margins.
