Yarn prices have fallen further in the last week in India, in line with a decline in demand in the lockdown period. Cotton and polyester prices have also dropped in the meantime. Our weekly review of Indian yarn prices covers the domestic and export markets, including carded and combed cotton, poly-cotton, poly-viscose, 100% polyester, and 100% viscose. Major yarn production centers are covered with Tirupur (Tamil Nadu), Bhiwandi (Maharashtra) and Ludhiana (Punjab).
