Cotton yarn prices have declined more rapidly in the last week in India than observed in the previous period. Margins are further dropping at spinning mills, confronted with anemic exports to China, as reflected by our new series of tables and charts. Our weekly review of Indian yarn prices covers the domestic and export markets, including carded and combed cotton, poly-cotton, poly-viscose, 100% polyester, and 100% viscose. Major yarn production centers are covered with Tirupur (Tamil Nadu), Bhiwandi (Maharashtra) and Ludhiana (Punjab). Yarn prices are compared with fiber prices, and offering the latest trends of spinners' margins.
