Inflation rates were slightly higher in a few emerging countries in June, possibly due to weaker currencies making imports more expensive. Inflation remains however under control everywhere, while deflation now threatens more developed economies. Our monthly report offers a comparison of inflation rates in low-cost countries, with historical data available back to June 2007, as well as a comparison of currencies, and the evolution of food prices.
