To simplify installation and reduce cabling, SMD23E incorporates NEMA frame size 23 stepper motor; 3.4 A, DC-powered microstepping drive; and controller. This out-of-the-box motion control solution communicates with host controller (PLC or PAC) via Ethernet/IP or Modbus-TCP and is programmable via controller's software. While rugged M12 connector option provides SMD23E with standard IP50 rating, optional IP67 rating affords protection against washdown environments.<br />
