Internship Strategy Market Intelligence Netherlands The Hague Context 6months internship, starting in late 2018 This is an exciting opportunity to become part of the Strategy Market Intelligence SMI team in a fastpaced, growing organization within a dynamic industry. Based in The Hague, you will contribute to evaluating our global markets, tracking key competitive and market information, analyzing major trends in the media and telecommunication business worldwide and making those analyses available across the organization. The exposure to a broad range of diverse activities will provide a comprehensive understanding of the SMI department. This position also works closely with various other departments and business verticals. Responsibilities Update and improve IT based tools to visualize vertical Market Intelligence products Improve and update internal market intelligence databases i.e. deals, pricing, demand supply Aggregate content for a daily newsletter Research and support the creation of Location Based Intelligence analyses Carto, Google MapsEarth etc. Research and report on selected market trends for the vertical teams Work together with the SMI team in analyzing and reporting on key trends relevant for SESs data services worldwide Support updating of Demand Supply forecasts Assist the SMI team in providing adhoc support for Sales, Marketing, and other internal stakeholders Experience Qualifications Being a current student in BusinessEconomics, Information Technology or in a relevant technical area Very strong computer literacy MS PowerPoint, Excel, Access knowledge of MS Power BI andor other data visualization software considered a big plus Strong interest in the telecommunication business and technical interest in satellite communications Excellent analytical and judgment skills, experience with modeling being a plus Ability to cope with multiple priorities and to work under tight deadlines Good communication and interpersonal skills Easiness to communicate at all levels Ability to work autonomously as well as in team High level of accuracy and attention to details Cando attitude ready to work in a challenging and international environment Drive to followthrough on task until completion Fluency in spoken and written English with additional languages considered an asset We offer you A diverse workplace.
