Redu Space services RSS has a vacancy for a Junior Earth Observation Support Engineer for a significant number of growing program in ESEC This will cover several activities in supporting programs like EOs, Sun Space Situation Awareness, Vegetation In programs like Altius, Proba, Hera, NAOS Work will be located at the ESAs ESEC centre in Redu, in the Ardenne region of Belgium. In this position you will Support the engineering actual team in conducting operations investigations in order to support the satellite programs SLAs KPIs and in conducting satellite operations with ESA ThirdParty Governmental users this will include activities support in Mission MOC Satellite Operation Centre systems SOC simulators validation testing for current and future projects and missions Support the actual RSS EO team with his ability to address activities in the abovementioned topics Support the operational development team in identifying and reporting issues Write operational procedures validation reports for the abovementioned missions Support the training of the operation team in learning brought some support for the evolution of the SOCMOC systems. Ideal candidates should meet the following criteria Civil or industrial Engineering or Master of Science degree in Space Systems, Telecom or IT Technical background in satellite telecommunication, RFs systems is an asset Strong programming skills. Knowledge of Python and Java is an asset. VM Networks knowledge are strong assets. Cyber Security first experience will be considered as a strong asset Experience with Linux environment At least one year of relevant experience, including academic projects Fluent in English in speech and writing is mandatory. French is an asset Good communication skills Hands on and operational results minded attitude Key in driving operations as start of the art with ability to report in line with customers requirements.
