We are currently looking for a Ground Segment Engineer to support our customer in the United Kingdom. Junior Ground Segment Engineer This role represents a great opportunity to join a fast growing organisation that provides an exciting and innovative work environment. This is an ideal opportunity for an early career engineer who is keen to develops their knowledge and expertise on the job gaining a wide range or practical experience in telecommunications ground segments. Key Tasks and Responsibilities As part of the team, you will have the following responsibilities Verification and validation of satellite data flows through the ground segment Implementation and operational support of a Fibre optic RFoF system Monitoring control of satellite ground stations Global travel to support to installation of equipment at customer sites. Skills Experience You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience Degree in Satellite or RF Communication Good technical aptitude with a general understanding of satellite communication systems Familiarity with Link Budgets Understanding of RF test equipment setup and use Fluency in English is mandatory.
