This is an opportunity for an experienced Software Engineer. The successful candidate will have a very interesting environment to strengthen hisher software development experience. Heshe will have users feedbacks and discussions with European Space Agency and being part of the space community. This position is based at our Headquarters in Darmstadt, Germany. ResponsibilitiesDuties The general activities are the following Development and maintenance of Mission Control Applications following formal software engineering processes MICONYS Suite e.g. SCOS2000, DARC, FARC,GFTS,SPMON etc. This includes user and system requirement analysis, software requirement engineering, software design, implementation and maintenance activities Interfacing with the technical officers QualificationsExperience Software engineer with minimum 3 years experience in the development, operation maintenance of satellite control systems e.g. SCOS2000, EGSCC Essential Skills Fluency in English Experience minimum 3 years in the full cycle of development and maintenance of Mission Control Applications following formal software engineering processes. This includes user and system requirement analysis, software requirement engineering, software design, implementation and maintenance activities. Experience in the definition of Ground Segment system level requirements and production of system architectural design artefacts in the domain of the Mission Control Applications. Experience in the definition of software requirements and architectural design and implementation of Spacecraft Monitoring Control applications.
