The Position We are looking for a junior quality engineer to form a new Project Quality Assurance Team in the Software Services Department. This position is ideal for someone who, after initial mentoring, will enjoy working independently as a proactive member of team and is sociable and interested in other people and their work. The aim of Project QA is to enable projects achieve their best possible results. As a rule you will be assigned to one or more projects, depending on size and criticality, involved in their day to day work and working in close collaboration with the project managers. The exact organisational structure is still to be decided and you will have the opportunity to influence this development. This position is based at our Headquarter in Darmstadt. It is fulltime and permanent and expected starting date will be immediately. We are looking forward to meeting you! ResponsibilitiesDuties Working with the PQE Team, you will support software development, maintenance and service projects through the different phases from proposal to final acceptance ensuring as a minimum compliance with contractual QA requirements. The following lists some of the tasks which are frequently performed by the PQE. Ensure that all vital processes are in place configuration management, delivery, reviews and supervise evolution Ensure compliance with project Quality Plan and any applicable standards ECSS, Galileo, military, aviation Supervise software metrics, nonconformances resolution and validation Provide QA reporting or QA recommendations to management reports Support reviews and audits QualificationsExperience University degree in software engineering or similar Experience in software development environment Essential Skills Experience with configuration management tools e.g. SVN or GIT Knowledge of metrication tools e.g. SonarQube Knowledge of Quality Assurance Very good English, spoken and written Good communication and organisational skills Attention to detail and an appreciation of process and quality Work well in a team as well as alone Ability to prioritize and keep an overview under time pressure Pragmatic, good sense of humour Selforganising and selfcontrolling Desirable Skills German Language, spoken and written Knowledge of ECSS standards and ISO 9001 Experience with Agile or SaFE Experience with software testing Advanced knowledge of MS Word and Excel French language skills Your Benefits of joining us By joining the Telespazio family, you will enjoy all the benefits of a competitive salary in a sustainable work environment, flexible working time models, diverse advancement and training possibilities for technical, language and soft skills, a generous holiday package as well as a company pension scheme.
