One of our Space clients is looking for a Junior Software Engineer to join their team of dedicated engineers, the Junior Software Engineer will provide support to Project Managers in the design and implementation of Software Satellite Simulators and Support Software. The position covers the generation programming of Simulation Models for spacecraft subsystems such as sensors and actuators. No experience is required related to space systems though it is appreciated. Candidates should meet the following mandatory criteria Software Engineering Master degree or equivalent From 2 to 5 years work experience Good command of CCJavaNet Knowledge in MatlabSimulink Knowledge in Software Lifecycle processes Languages Good English language skills spoken and written, German andor French knowledge being considered as an asset Be interested to learn about Space Engineering i.e Satellite subsystems, Astrodynamics Good communication capabilities, analytical sense and priority setting abilities Willing to worktravel across Europe from time to time Ability to work and interface with a multinational team Methodical and structured workapproach Taking responsibility and being proactive Optional Skills Have an understanding of Space Systems including the following C ,Windows Forms and GUI development Web PHP, JSON, Javascript, Ajax, Python ECSS ESA Standards GIS Maps Embedded programming Automatic control AndroidIphone programming
