Launcher Interface Engineer

We are looking for a Launcher Interface Engineer to work for one of our clients in Germany. Role Description He or she will provide engineering support to a number of internal programme teams and interfacing with various launch service providers to ensure the successful development and qualification of satellitetolaunch vehicle interfaces. They will also be required to work with the System Team Manager for launch servicerelated activities and to make arrangements for the launch campaign requirements for customer offices, hardware, travel, etc. The successful candidate will also participate in the finalisation of the launch service agreement and liaise with the client LEOP manager and flight dynamics team to define the requirements for satellite injection. They will also need to deputise, when necessary, for the Launch Interface Manager. The role will include launch feasibility studies, launch service definition, procurement and launch preparations. The candidate will undertake specific analyses verifying satellitetolauncher interface requirements, and reviewing and updating the Satellite to Launcher Interface Control Document. Further analyses will be included, such as mission analysis, plus the preparation and maintenance of various key documents, such as launch campaign master plans and procedure environmental specifications environmental test plans and specifications launch campaign operations plans and procedures, etc. Required Background The candidate will also need to have a very good knowledge of launcherrelated topics such as flight dynamics EMC vibration impacts propulsion satellite launch campaign and testing qualification and management processes, etc. He or she should have university degree in Aerospace Engineering or equivalent qualification in relevant discipline, with a proven knowledge and minimum of 3 years experience in spacelauncher systems and related aspects.
