Linen Fiber and Yarn Prices (Quarterly Report)

2019-05-16 19:24:51| EmergingTextiles.com

Flax fiber prices have further surged to record levels in the first quarter of the year, due to the development of linen apparel sales in the United States and Europe. With flax fiber production remaining stable in France, prices are expected to stay at a high level. This could favor a shift to cannabis, which is now legalized in many countries of the world, with a rebounding production currently in China. Our report offers a comprehensive view of the international market prices, including China's flax fiber import prices and linen yarn export prices. China's import and export data in volume and value terms are also available for download on a monthly basis back to December 2012.
