Linen Fiber and Yarn Prices in China (Quarterly Report)

Flax fiber prices have soared at the end of last year, according to latest available data, whereas linen yarn prices were also sharply rising. Whatever the rise of French flax production, the rebound of market prices from the end of 2017 is mostly due to surging demand for linen apparel triggered by a warmer weather and a rising attraction for natural fibers. Our report offers a comprehensive view of the international market prices, including China's flax fiber import prices and linen yarn export prices. China's import and export data in volume and value terms are also available for download on a monthly basis back to December 2012.
