We are currently looking for a Logistics Engineer to support our customer in the Netherlands. Logistics Engineer Key Tasks and Responsibilities Youwill directly support the Head of the Columbus and Payloads Engineering Section and you will be responsible for the planning and execution of inventory management, logistics documentation and database management, as well as ground processing support within the European logistics tasks for the International Space Station ISS. You will have the following responsibilities Inventory Management including the definition and procurement of services, tools, facilities and warehousing management, Logistics Documentation and Database Management, Ground Processing and Transportation Management, Launch site coordination with international partners, Logistics Planning and implementation, Logistics Support to ISS Increment Operations. Skills Experience You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience University Degree in a relevant discipline Solid expertise in the field of logistics and inventory management Database development and maintenance Logistics simulation models Familiarity with the ISS programmatic environment Ability to coordinate various service providers within the ISS operations project Willing to travel in Europe and eventually to the USA Ability to multitask efficiently Familiarity with the ESTEC environment Fluency in English is mandatory knowledge of another European language is an advantage.
