We are currently looking for a Mechanical AIT Engineer to support our customer in Germany. Mechanical AIT Engineer Key Tasks and Responsibilities Process planning in the field mechanical thermal AIT and reporting to the AIT Manager Implementation of the new integration and production system IPS Solumina Merging and leading external and internal AIT requirements and production of relevant integration procedures In collaboration with the AIT management, preparation and planning of all necessary resources manpower, equipment, Ground Support, equipment, facilities, etc. Monitoring of the integration of the various subsystems and the overall instrument under clean room conditions ISO Class 5 and preparation of necessary documentation Detailed planning, preparation and execution of the mechanical tests Concept planning, design coordination and procurement for MGSE Participation in test campaigns at working location as well as abroad Independent mechanical integration of highprecision mechanisms and optical instruments Participation in the system integration of optical satellite subsystems and components. Skills Experience You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience University Degree in Electronics or other applicable domain Solid technical understanding and experience with projects development Experience in mechanical thermal integration of sensitive optical flight hardware Experience in the planning of the mechanical assembly, integration and test program Experience with MAIT product and process documentation Experience with MAIT means of production and working methods Fluency in English is mandatory knowledge of the German language is an advantage.
