We are currently looking for a Mechanical CAE Engineer to support our customer in Germany. Mechanical CAE Engineer Key Tasks and Responsibilities Our customer is a European leader in exciting and technologically sophisticated projects in the area of satellites. As part of the team, you will have the following responsibilities Implementation of static and dynamic structural analyses of satellites and their components Execution of mechanical performance analyses for instruments and highprecision structures for space applications Simulation and support of vibration tests on satellites and their components, incl. implementation of sinusoidal and random response analysis Extension and application of knowledge about modern materials such as composites and ceramics Creation of mathematical structure models with the Finite Element Method Use of preand postprocessor software PATRAN and FEM Solver NASTRAN Documentation of all work, in particular the mathematical models as well as analyses and test results Presentation of the results to customers and internal staff. Skills Experience You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience University degree in a relevant discipline Knowledge and professional experience in the area of static and dynamic structural analysis using the Finite Element Method Familiarity with PATRAN and FEM Solver NASTRAN Knowledge in the area of composites and ceramics Knowledge of German at least basic and English negotiation level.
