For one of our customers in the Netherlands, active in the aerospace and high precision industry, we are currently looking for a Mechanical System Architect. Our client is a leading edge RD company. The activities are all nonrecurring and for this reason our client is a major contributor of technological innovation in the Netherlands. The Mechanical System Architect will be part of the Optomechatronics department and you will be working on the development of optomechatronic equipment used in the space and semicon industry. This is an inspiring challenge you will work in multidisciplinary teams, with likeminded professionals, developing solutions to exciting problems. Tasks and Responsibilities Analyze customer requirements and ensure that they are implemented in the concept Development of system specifications Development of system architecture for space andor high precision applications Break down of system level requirements into lower levelsubsystem requirements Documentation specifications, design descriptions,ICDs, test procedures and reports Provide input for development milestone planning Perform budget and budget margin tracking Participate in project reviews. Support RD projects from the proposal phase up until delivery Experience and competences University degree in a relevant engineering field Minimal 10 years of experience with RD projects of complex high precision systems Experience in designing complex mechatronic systems with an expert understanding of mechanical design and analysis Excellent working knowledge of optomechanical engineering and design principles with specific expertise in the areas of design You have affinity with optical precision equipment You have a proactive and resultsoriented attitude and are the driving force in creating new technology You are eager to learn new technical skills via daily interaction with likeminded professionals You are organisation sensitive and demonstrate understanding of the interests and political forces within and outside the organization About ATG Europe ATG Europe prides itself in employing Europes brightest minds, and for the last 30 years we have been a key player in delivering highly educated personnel for RD and Engineering environments throughout Europe.
