Deadline ASAP Client and Location For one of our main customers ESAESTEC, we are currently looking for a Mechanical and Electrical Workshop Service Manager. The Mechanical and Electrical Workshop is part of the Test Centre division is operating a small mechanical and electrical workshop to support the maintenance and operation of the Test Centre and the laboratories that are on ESTEC site. A set of machines and tool is available to be able to offer a quick and flexible service to all teams located on ESTEC site. Tasks and Responsibilities Discussion with workshop Customer to agree on manufacturing Provide manufacturing advise Minor works may require handsketches to be drafted by the service contractor in agreement with the Customer request Registration of request for work Preparation of proposal Maintain overall planning of workshop for all activities work requests, maintenance, repair Maintain machine elog book Liaise with ESA suppliers in charge of the machines maintenance to schedule it and follow it up to meet machine maintenance plan Liaise with ESA supplier in charge of the electrical inspection to schedule it and follow it up to meet inspection plan Keep machine maintenance and inspection plans uptodate Manage stock of spare parts and consumable including the requesting of offer for stock replacement. This requires maintaining a list of spare parts and consumable of the workshop Perform workshop physical inventory Provide monthly report Provide once a year suggestion for machine upgrade or replacement Provide once a year suggestion for maintenance optimisation. Requirements Senior Technician with 5 to 10 years of relevant work experience Minimum completed MBO diploma in technical direction MTS Metaaltechniek Proven experience in planningCoordinationmanagement of Tasks Machine maintenanceMaterial and consumable stock managementinspection and calibration Experience in 3 axis CNC milling Basic knowledge of CATIA is an asset Highly proficient in IT tools MS office, MS Projects, Word, Excel Experience with Pressurized installation is a strong assets Knowledge of Electrical and NEN 3140 is an asset Knowledge of welding techniques is an asset Experience in Reporting and communication in English and Dutch language Knowledge of Health and Safety regulations, VCA VOL is an asset Problem solving ability and hands on mentality Leadership skills and Able to motivate, coach and guide people.
