Microwave Technology and Equipment Engineer 1411088 Job Description For our customer ESA we are looking for a Microwave Engineer to work on site at the European Space Research and Technology Centre ESTEC. The main tasks to be performed are the following Contributing to the design, development and performance evaluation of RF technologies applicable to space and ground segments with particular emphasis on Travelling Wave Tube Amplifiers and Vacuum Electronics Providing expert technical support to projects and programmes Contributing to the generation of innovative ideas in the field of RF equipment and technologies and to the definition of ESA RD programmes Defining technical requirements and statements of work for the tasks to be performed by industry from early conceptual studies to full hardware development Contributing the to the development and usage of section related laboratory facilities and analysissimulation tools Monitoring applicable scientific and technological trends Required Skills and Experience University Masters degree in microwave or RF electronics engineering Minimum of four years professional experience in a similar role Good background on RF equipment and technologies for space applications Several years of working experience on Travelling Wave Tube Amplifiers and Vacuum Electronics Fluency in English Work Location Noordwijk, Netherlands Dates Application Deadline 05 November 2014 Start of Work 01 December 2014 Important Notes Before applying to this position, please read the page Notes to Applicants on the Solenix website under Career.
