We are looking for a Mission Analysis and Flight Dynamics Engineer to work in the maintenance and evolution of the libraries and tools that provide support in the implementation of geostationary and lowearth orbiting meteorological systems. It also includes the analysis of potential evolutions of those tools. The successful candidate will have to travel to EUMETSAT headquarters in Darmstadt, Germany for specific periodsactivities still to be agreed with the customer. Tasks and Responsibilities The tasks will include software specification and design software development and maintenance in line with wellestablished standards preparation of test plans and procedures, test reports software verification and validation preparation of SW documentation, such as design documentation or user manuals Skills and Experience The Key Person shall have the following attributes and skills experience in flight dynamics and mission analysis for Earth Observation missions and application tools and libraries in this area Orekit, NAPEOS MatLab, Java knowledge of FORTRAN, Python, CC, tcltk or MatLabSimulink will be considered as an asset experience with SUSE Linux and Windows 10 environments knowledge of low level mathematical and space dynamics libraries like Orekit and Hipparchus knowledge andor experience of IVV knowledge of ECSS knowledge of SW development tools, including relevant IDE, source code and version control tools like git How to Apply Interested applicants should submit their CV and Cover Letter in Europass format httpseuropass.cedefop.europa.eu to WGS recruitment team at vacanciesworkgroupsolutions.com before the 16th August 2019.
