RHEA is currently recruiting a Mission Planning Engineer to support the Sentinel3 programme at our clients premises in Darmstadt, Germany. Tasks and Activities The scope of work will include Performing tasks related to mission planning operations, primarily involving the management and use of the Payload Data Ground Segment Mission Planning Facility PDGS MPF and the Flight Operations Segment Mission Planning System FOS MPS, within a SCOS2000 based mission control system. Performing or contributing to the maintenance, update, validation and documentation of the mission planning operational implementation and application software in all mission phases. The operational implementation resides in relational databases and associated business rule management systems, and is used to generate schedules related to satellitepayload and platform mission planning. Skills and Experience The following skills and experience are mandatory At least a university degree in the relevant discipline with 5 years of experience in the domain of work. Experience of Low Earth Orbit LEO spacecraft and ground segment system operations preferably including use of SCOS2000 General programmingsoftware development, including at least 1 year of software development in Java or an equivalent e.g. Drools, JBoss Rules. Relational databases and SQL, preferably involving Oracle database administration. How to Apply Looking to take your career to the next level?
