Position Reference 077 RHEA Group is currently recruiting a Security Engineer to support our cybersecurity team based in Redu, Belgium close to the European Space Agencys ESA activities. You will have the opportunity to work in a challenging environment with stateoftheart technologies within the cybersecurity and Infrastructure as a Service domains. As a Security Engineer, you will be involved in the development, refinement and management of our advanced cyberrange platform, as well as in the delivery of complex cybersecurity exercises. Tasks and Activities The scope of work will include Security tests planning and execution targeting space systems and components, including penetration testing and vulnerability assessment Threats, vulnerability and risk analysis of space systems and components Definition and design of space specific security countermeasures Provisioning of cyber defence and security operations advice and guidance to technical development teams in the areas of cyber defence situation awareness concepts and requirements incident detection, analysis and response management visualization requirements collaborative information sharing and relevance of security metrics Cyber defence and security operations system research, definition, planning, installation, configuration, operations and maintenance, with a specific focus on RHEAs cyberrange platform Cyber security training and awareness Skills and Experience The following skills and experience are mandatory You have a Bachelors or masters in computer science, engineering, IT or a related field You have at least 3 years proven work experience as a security engineer. You have in depth knowledge of o Information Security concepts involving incident detection, analysis, decision support and response o Network Local Area Networking LAN, Metropolitan Area Networking MAN or Wide Area Networking WAN technologies o Internet Protocols such as TCPIP, UDP, RIP, OSPF, BGP, SIP, SNMP, IPSec, SSL, TLS o End system architectures and operating systems such as Windows, Linux. o Virtualization technologies such as KVM, VMWare, open nebula etc o Open vSwitch OvS You have a professional qualification or certification such as CISSP, CEH, OSPT or similar. You possess strong interpersonal skills, team working, good analytic and problem solving capabilities. You have strong communication and documentation abilities. You are detailoriented. You have an analytical mind and problemsolving aptitude. You have effective time management and organizational skills. Some of the following skills would be highly desirable, in order of priority You have experience with Infrastructure as a Service systems such OpenNebula or OpenStack. You have experience in delivery of operations services or specification of solutions for cyber defence or security operations including some of the following o ISO 27000 series standards o Information Security policies, standards, and procedures o Cloud Computing or virtual machine security o Trusted Product Evaluation standards such as Common Criteria or FIPS 140 o Certification and Accreditation concepts and processes o Technical vulnerability assessment VA and penetration testing PenTest o Security Information and Event Management SIEM systems o You have experience in cyber security for space, defense, critical infrastructure, finance or government systems.
