We are currently looking for a Network Support Engineer to support our customer in Germany. Network Support Engineer Key Tasks and Responsibilities As part of an international team, you will have the following responsibilities Support of the project and hosting networks Monitoring of the networks and external communication interfaces Configuration management of the network systems Router, Switches, Firewall, VPNs Implementation of software tests on systems including interface tests Maintenance and monitoring of firewalls Maintenance of ESA network supply with on callduty 1st level support Implementation of daily checks of operational network systems Creation and validation of network support procedures Implementation of regular backups and antivirus monitoring of operational network systems Support of the analysis, planning and implementation of HWSW changes and upgrades within the Galileo operational environment Planning and implementation of new network solutions Active coordination with customers and other Galileo contractors regarding network issues Support of the analysis, identification and resolution of network issues Support of the creation of project documentation and proposals Maintaining of group and user accounts Training and briefing of users and new colleagues Representation of results Oncall service. Skills Experience You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience University Degree in a relevant discipline Experience in the network engineering area Ability to work in an multicultural team Fluency in English is mandatory knowledge of another European language is an advantage.
