Our clients within the Space sector are in the middle of the IT Transformation. During that process our clients need leading support to ensure the introduction of modern virtualisation and cloud technologies, based on sustainable architectures with high availability. The infrastructure of our clients is heavily distributed across various sites and a proper network and security design is essential to ensure secure architectures, which provide the right network capacities. If you are interested to support the analysis, design and implementation of the corresponding network infrastructure within an exciting domain for our Space clients and if you bring corresponding experience from other industries, then you should continue reading. We are looking for architects, who are enthusiastic to design, build, implement and deploy modern IT infrastructures focusing on the network components considering security during the complete lifecycle. Join our Space teams in either Darmstadt or Bochum. With a team of highly motivated and specialized experts within an international environment, we help to develop our Space clients systems during the digital transformation. Aufgaben As a Network and Security Architect, you will work in our Space team to provide your experience to leading international and national Space organizations and corporations to support our IT teams regarding network and corresponding security technologies. The exciting and diverse tasks are as follows Analysis and design of IT networks and corresponding security concepts as well as the selection of corresponding technologies and products Planning, implementation, deployment and modifying network hardware and software components and environments Analysis of client networks and planning of bandwidths and capacities Development of network security services based on client requirements and use cases Qualifikation Required qualifications to be successful in this role You have a structured and analytical approach You have fundamental knowledge in IT, nestwork and application architectures You have a track record of analysis, implementation and the documentation of security and network architectures You bring relevant professional experience, as well as indepth knowledge in design and planning network environment including LANWAN, switching, VPN, VLANs, security and general routing protocols You have experience in operations, monitoring and service level of network security components You are fluent in English You have a degree in IT, computer science or similar Desirable qualifications Experience in IT System Engineering and relevant standards Experience with network security products like Checkpoint, Cisco, Fortinet, Genua, Palo Alto or similar Experience with DNS, AAAS, NTP, SMTP Relevant certification such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional CISSP, Certified Information Security Manager CISM or similar Fluent in German Experience in the System Engineering Standards provided by the European Cooperation for Space Standardization ECSS Does this job sound interesting to you?
