RHEA is currently recruiting a Network and Security Engineer for our client based in Frascati, Italy. Tasks and Activities The scope of work will include Support the management of the MultiMission Network, Security, Data Dissemination and processing infrastructure service provision, Management of the Network, Security and Data Dissemination service performance, in liaison with the Service Provider Provision of cost estimation for new implementations or financial monitor for running services Monitoring of the service providers HW SW maintenance in order to maintain an adequate level of service. Report on progress and results, reviewing the monthly report provided by the Service Provider Manage priorities in liaison with EOPG Interface with the Service Providers service managers when required for priority handling Guide the Change Management to the Service as member of the Change Control Board Ensure alignment of the technical documentation with the existing infrastructure Review Evolution proposal to ensure coherence with existing services Follow up capacity planning issues Follow up Security issues Manage the internal infrastructure evolutions activity according to the EOPG needs Elaboration and review of the EOP User Needs, preparation of requirements, risk analysis, and support the implementation during the different activity phases Support the migration to a Multimission architecture WAN, LAN, Dissemination, processing, in compliance with the agreed Mission and System requirements, including security issues, and considering the internal and external interfaces Evaluation and preparation of the NetworkSecurity design and ImplementationOperations plan including details of the different phases Skills and Experience The following skills and experience are mandatory University degree or equivalent qualification in Electronics or Telecommunication Engineering with experience in Operational services Fluent English language oral and written Autonomy in writing technical notes, specifications and reports in English Good interpersonal skills and team spirit Previous working experience in a multinational environment is desirable Very good knowledge of MS Office tools Good understanding of IP networks and services e.g., email, DNS, NTP, and have familiarity with the latest generation of Network, Security, Data handling and processing methodologies. Following certifications together with a general knowledge on EO missions are welcome Service Management e.g., ITIL Project Management e.g., Prince2, PMP Security e.g., ISO27001, CISSP Cisco e.g., CCNA, CCNP Check Point e.g., CCSA, CCSE.
