This vacancy note concerns an onsite consulting position at ESTEC in Noordwijk in The Netherlands. NonMetallic Materials and Processes Engineer 1611027 Job Description We are looking for a NonMetallic Materials and Processes Engineer to support our client ESTEC. Required Skills and Experience A Master degree in materials science or a related engineering discipline with a good working knowledge of Autonomously support project reviews for materials process approval incl. CCC Cleanliness Contamination Control reviews as well some familiarity for safety reviews for use on e.g. the ISS. Familiarity with ESA PA requirements to review and accept RFDs, RFAs etc related to materials processes issues incl. CCC Carry out Materials and Processes reviews, Materials and Processes Control Boards MPCBs and participate as PA support in ESA Programme reviews. Support major NonConformances Review Board activities, carry out failure investigations and define laboratory work accordingly.
