HE Space is a successful international space company. For nearly 40 years, we have been supporting our customers with qualified experts in the field of engineering, science and administration. We are currently looking for a OptoElectronics Engineer to support our customer in the Netherlands. OptoElectronics Engineer Key Tasks and Responsibilities You will have the following responsibilities Support Mission Studies from Phase 0 up to Phase B2CD Running detector technology development activities and detector predevelopment Activities. Skills Experience You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience Masters in Engineering or equivalent in related disciplines Experience with operation and characterization of CCD and CMOS detectors Experience with Xray detector operation and characterization is an asset Experience with InGaAs and MCT detector operation and characterization is an asset Experience in the design and implementation of new measurement methodssetups is an asset Practical laboratory experience in the design, development and verification of OptoElectronic systems, vacuum technology, numerical measurement analysis and associated engineering software tools e.g. LabView, Matlab, Python is an asset Knowledge of environmental testing of space hardware is an asset Experience with detector Frontend electronics design and development is an asset Fluency in English is mandatory knowledge of another European language is an advantage.
