AIRBUS GROUP An excellent role exists to provide administrative support to the VP Corporate Operations and VP Corporate Development following best office and administrative practice. As the successful candidate you will coordinate the Business Review Process and provide ad hoc support to the EA Airbus Group President. Based in Central London, it will be important for you to demonstrate knowledge of the UK aerospace and defence markets. You will achieve harmonious relations between Airbus Group UK, SMO staff, the customer community and the divisions. You will need to ensure that BD processes e.g. reviews are managed effectively and provide effective diary management, ensure electronic and paper files are easily accessible, relevant and up to date. You will also provide reliable travel and accommodation arrangements when appropriate. The successful candidate will be subject to UK National Security Clearance in order to undertake related work in accordance with business needs. Candidates applying for the role must be a UK resident for a minimum of 5 years in order to enable the UK National Security Clearance. Your main tasks and responsibilities will include Diary Management To manage the diaries and the activities of the VPs Corporate in order to optimise the use of their time. Business Coordination Maintaining an understanding of future business. Manage relationships between Airbus Group UK, the Divisions, customer community and other companies. Filing Records Create, maintain, update and monitor paper and electronic filing systems as appropriate. Travel Organise travel bookings and directions, accommodation and meetings on own initiative. Communications Respond directly to all such communications in the absence of the executive. Liaise with the Communications Team Public Affairs Liaise with the Public Affairs Team As the successful candidate you will be able to demonstrate the following MANDATORY skills and competencies UK resident for a minimum of 5 years to enable the UK National Security Clearance GCSE level or equivalent in Mathematics and English grade C or above Previous experience working in an administrative role PAExecutive Assistant activities preferred Good working knowledge of administrative processes Excellent PC skills MS office, etc. Strong organisational skills and adaptability, and good use of initiative Culture sensitive and a positive and proactive mind frame Fluent in English and excellent command of the language, both verbally and written The following are DESIRABLE skills and competencies Qualification in administration secretarial area, or equivalent experience Experience in a large corporation Experience in the areas of business coordination and market statistics European language skills specifically French, German or Spanish Please apply on line for this vacancy on line at our careers site www.jobs.airbusgroup.com with your CV attached.
