The successful candidate will join the Payload Product Development department. Working within the Telecoms payload product development group, you will be in charge of RD tasks associated with payload products and research. Your main missions and responsibilities will include Managing the advanced roadmaps for the payload as per market demands, Defining advanced payload architectures, including future solutions using onboard photonics, digital processing and active aerials, Securing financing from institutions for advanced development and research, Managing RD tasks associated with the payload, by managing or assisting with responses to offers from institutions, which mainly come from CNES or ESA, in collaboration with the other members of the payload research group in France or in the UK, Managing relations with teams inside and outside the payload product group MSC aerials and repeaters, payload engineering, satellite, customisation, telecom system, product suppliers, Supporting offers involving complex payloads or new equipment This role will involve some travel for business and as such you must be able to travel accordingly around once a month in Europe. As the successful candidate, you will be able to demonstrate some of the following skills and experience Qualified engineer 5year degree or equivalent, At least 5 years of experience in payload architecture, Microwave and opticsphotonics skills, Knowledge of the institutional environment ESA, CNES, etc., Knowledge of the Telecoms market would be a plus, Ability to work independently, with a proactive approach and an inquisitive nature Negotiation level of English.
