One of the main tasks of the DLR GfR mbH is to operate and manage the constellation of Galileo satellites from the Galileo Control Center in Oberpfaffenhofen, Germany. For the performance of tasks in the Galileo Planning Team of our Operations Department in Oberpfaffenhofen, Germany we are looking for Planning Engineers. Responsibilities Operations planning and coordination Preparation of Weekly Timeline and Team Plan for Galileo Satellite Constellation Operations. Participation in Medium and Short Term Planning meetings. Coordination of the inputs received by the different Teams involved in Galileo Constellation Operations. Analysis and reporting. Development activities Analysis and improvement of operational planning processes, procedures, tools and interfaces. Training Maintain and develop training material Skill Requirements Masters degree in engineering or equivalent, preferably in Aerospace Engineering Strong organizational, communication and relationship management skills Strong attitude towards cooperative team working and ability to interface with customers and stakeholders Strong ability to prioritize the work, to identify and resolve conflicts Proactive and selflearner Willing to work in a multicultural, dynamic and challenging environment Knowledge of satellite navigation Experience in spacecraft operations, in particular in planning domain would be an asset Experience in the ground segment of navigation satellite systems, such as Egnos or Galileo, would be an asset Comfortable using Linux and with programming, especially in VBA An advanced level of English is mandatory Your future You can look forward to an employer who will value your engagement and who supports your development with various opportunities for further qualifications and training.
