Polyester fiber prices have stopped rising in the past days, after experiencing a sharp recovery in the past two weeks. PTA and MEG prices are now declining but any new rebound of crude oil prices could trigger a new recovery of polyester prices. Our weekly report covers the Polyester Staple Fiber (PSF) on the domestic markets in China, India, and Pakistan. Polyester filament prices in China are also released, whereas the report includes a price comparison of polyester with cotton and viscose in China.
