Polyester fiber prices have continued to decline in the last seven days in China, as a result of a weakness of demand from downward users and a previous rise of inventories. May export data confirm the sharp fall of sales to the US market, whereas exports have surged to India and Bangladesh. Our weekly report covers the Polyester Staple Fiber (PSF) on the domestic markets in China, India, and Pakistan. Polyester filament prices in China are also released, whereas the report includes a price comparison of polyester with cotton and viscose in China.
