Honeywell dynamically expands activities in research and development RD centre in Brno, Czech Republic. Established in 2003, this is the largest RD centre in Europe for Honeywell. Our engineers and scientists develop products and technologies that are linked to our business groups Aerospace, Automation and Controls Solutions and Transportation Systems. This position is a part of Advanced Technology group, a research organization focusing on research in key areas of aerospace industry such as Air Traffic Management Communication, Navigation, Surveillance Control Systems Embedded Systems Crew Interface and Avionics. Responsibilities Lead RD technology projects in the areas of Crew interfacesApplication of HF knowledge EU funded project SESAR User Interface design Human Computer Interaction Leadership and visioning to develop and drive human factors research directions for the cockpit of the future Conceptual design of future products and applications User requirements analyses such as function, task, and cognitive task analyses Identification and development of new products Business development role Leading the transfer activity of research outputs into the products. Contact point for COEs, managing this transfer. Representing Honeywell in early involvement with European OEMs influencecapture the OEM requirements in advance to prepare the products Building relationships with EU funding agencies and EU research partners, participating in proposal activities. Responsible for developing program plans and defining the architecture of the products Requirements Master or Phd degree in Science, Technology or a related field or equivalent experience Expertise and proven track record of experience in following areas human centered design GUI design and advanced visualisation human factors cognitive psychology Domain knowledge of air traffic management, cockpit and avionics systems Leadership skills Experience with leading national and international projects
