HE Space is a successful international space company. For 30 years, we have been supporting our customers with qualified experts in the field of engineering, science and administration. We are currently looking for a Procurement Manager to support our customer in Germany. Procurement Manager Key Tasks and Responsibilities Our customer is a European leading system house, specialized in development and implementation of high technology solutions for aerospace, science and industry. You will have the following responsibilities Enhance procurement management as the interface between the satellite programs and the subcontractors Manage and optimize procurement for a German national space project Manage subcontractor interfaces, delivery process and schedule Prepare and implement competitive tender processes including Requests for Quotation, proposal evaluation and subcontractor selection Ensure supplies of subsystems considering customer and process orientation requirements as well as cost and quality optimization Conduct price and contract negotiations Handle change processes during project implementation Manage the subcontract until delivery and acceptance of the hardware. Skills Experience You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience University degree in Aerospace Engineering or similar technical areas Several years of experience in procurement and subcontractor management, preferably in the space sector Experience in interdisciplinary work Broad management skills Strong background in legal matters and contract negotiation processes Fluency in English is mandatory German would be an asset.
