We are currently looking for a Product Assurance Engineer to support our customer in the Netherlands. Product Assurance Engineer Key Tasks and Responsibilities In this role you will be working at ESAESTEC in support of ESAs Technical and Quality Management Directorate. You will have the following responsibilities Establishing the PA Safety requirements baseline for all project elements Reviewing contractors project PAS programme plans and specifications Monitoring project PA status identifying relevant PA issues Assessing the implementation of PAS requirements, participating in design safety reviews and directing the necessary preventivecorrective actions Guiding and monitoring the application and procurement of EEE parts, materials and processes and controlling implementation of applicable requirements Monitoring the manufacturing, integration and test activities Defining the formal acceptance requirements and conducting the Acceptance Reviews of all contractual deliverable items Controlling NCRwaiversproblemsCritical items Participating in all project reviews, including safety reviews Reporting project PA status deviations from plan schedule of all of above PA support surveillance of Payload integration, System tests Launch campaign, AIT activities, NRBs. Skills Experience You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience University degree or equivalent in a relevant engineering discipline Several years relevant experience in product assurance and quality assurance in the aerospace domain Excellent communication skills both written and verbal Knowledge of Configuration Management or the implementation of Product Assurance within a quality system certified to ISO 9001 would be an asset Fluency in English is mandatory knowledge of another European language is an advantage. This job is located in Noordwijk and involves extensive travelling to integration, test facilities and launch site.
